How much Business Optimization has happened at HNTB Corporation?

In the video below on CxO Talk, I asked Brian Swenson, Chief Process Officer of HNTB Corportion about how much business (process) optimization has occured.

In my view, everything in your organization is a business process:

1. Acquiring a customer is a process
2. Hiring is a process
3. Implementing technology is a process

And since we know that business processes or lack there of are the product of the culture of the organization, we have to make sure that our own processes aren’t making us into an ostrich that hides its head.
